Design kit

The imec design kit includes:

• Layout handbook
• Process handbook
• Technology settings and basic examples for:
• Ipkiss suite
• PhoeniX suite
• Layer settings for Cadence Virtuoso and KLayout
• DRC deck for Calibre
• Example GDSII files

Supported/recommended software

• Layout, visualization, physical and circuit modelling: PhoeniX suite. Obtain from Europractice software or Phoenix BV
• Layout, visualization, modeling: Ipkiss suite. Obtain from imec-Ghent University.
• Design rule checking: Calibre nmDRC. Obtain from Europractice software or Mentor Graphics
• GDSII viewer: KLayout (freeware), obtain from www.klayout.de

Design support

Europractice gives the designer support to deliver a valid GDSII mask file and use the design kit
