ARM/Artisan -- Design Kit License Agreement
In order to get access to the ARM/Artisan designkits you have to follow the access procedures, sign the Design Kit License Agreement (DKLA), subscribe to the ARM/Artisan closed domain at mtc-online and get approval from Europractice.
Sign the DKLA in 2 copies and return to : IMEC

Terms and conditons to access the ARM/Artisan standard cell and IO cell libraries for TSMC technologies
Europractice users can get access to the ARM/Artisan standard cell libraries and “Foundry Sponsered” IO libraries at the following conditions :
- Europractice universities and research laboratories for non-commercial ASIC design use
- free access to front-end views (no GDS-II).
- free tape out on Europractice MPW prototype runs.
- Europractice universities and research labs for commercial ASIC design use
- free access to front-end views (no GDS-II)
- There will be a one time tape out fee of 7500 EUR for each design that is fabricated in silicon, when using these libraries.
The fee stands for the support of the libaries through Europractice. - The fee is applicable for each new product (refer to product name in the FAB)
- The fee covers the use of all libraries from one technology node
- The fee is not applicable to respins (e.g. metal updates)
- The fee is not applicable when the step is taken from MPW production to Pilot run production or to Volume production
- Industrial customer need to license the ARM/Artisan standard cell libraries and Foundry sponsored IO libraries directly from ARM.
When planning to use these libararies you should inform latest 1 month in advance, so that we can invoice the amount due, as so that the t/o fee can be paid prior to tape-out.
