SENTRON AG is a small engineering company specialized in the field of
magnetic field SENsors and interface elecTRONics. The company is
a manufacturer of Hall elements, Hall ASICs, magnetic field measurement
instruments and customer specific modules.
SENTRON Hall ASICs are a combination of Hall elements and appropriate
interface electronics integrated on a chip together with a magnetic flux
concentrator. In this way they are sensitive to magnetic field components
parallel to the chip surface and not as conventional Hall magnetic sensors
perpendicular to the device surface. This allows to manufacture unique
Hall sensors with unmatched performances for applications requiring very
high sensitivity (position/current/compass) or as angular sensors (contactless
potentiometer/brushless motor sensor).
SENTRON welcomes research and development contracts. Since its
foundation in 1993, the compay has carried out several R&D projects,
providing customers with application-specific modules for their needs.
Such modules usually consist of magnetic sensor assemblies, ferromagnetic
components and an electronic interface with customer-specific signal treatment.
