EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM FOR IC PROTOTYPING

mini@sic prototyping conditions for universities and research laboratories.

In order to stimulate universities and research laboratories to prototype their ASIC designs, Europractice has introduced in 2003 the concept of mini@sic.

That means that Europractice has selected several MPW runs in different technologies on which universities and research labs can prototype versy small ASIC designs with reduced minimum prototype fee as follow:

• All MPW runs in On Semiconductor technologies are open to the mini@sic conditions.
• Selected MPW runs in selected ams technologies are open to the mini@sic conditions.
• All MPW runs in IHP technologies are open to the mini@sic conditions.
• Selected MPW runs in UMC 0.18u, 0.13u, 90nm and 65nm CMOS mixed/RF technology are open to the mini@sic
• Selected MPW runs in TSMC 0.18u, 90nm, 65nm and 40nm CMOS mixed signal RF technology are open to the mini@sic . For more information please send an e-mail to eptsmc@imec.be.
